One of the best (non-vintage) synths I know of as it concerns LFO sync and trigger options is the Elektron Monomachine. Each of the 6 tracks in the Monomachine offers 3 LFOs, which are identical in potential function. The 18 LFOs offer 11 waveforms (5 basic shapes plus mirrored copies of all but th...

lfo's & S&H

Is it possible to sync lfo's and s&h's to clock rate? Or to a trigger from a sequencer? Is this possible on many vintage synths?

If they figured out a way to have midi out on that guitar that could sustain midi notes like they do in the video (all in the hands) I'd be all over it. I'd ask my grandmother for an early inheritance. It would be the ultimate midi controller for me.

I'm the thread killer. I'll usually say something so stupid that the thread just gets buried with no more replies. So here is my stupid thought for the day. This guitar looks awesome, but what I think is so cool about it is its automatic muting ability and its infinite sustain perhaps opening up the...

cv/gate box for computer

I'm amazed that a cv/gate box hasn't been made by a company like reaktor or even better Kyma. With all the people into modular systems these days. Being able to program cv voltages in ways that only a computer could do (Cellular Automata, chaotic systems, delays, or just having a nice serial sequenc...

Yeah, I don't like to use midi. I think it sucks. So I use it the least possible amount. The fairlight would have 8 cv gate outs. That is impressive.

Resurrection! Ive gotten back into the fairlight and maybe even the synclavier. For one reason only. THE CV GATE options! The mc4 is the only alternative for someone wanting a proper sequencer with multiple cv outs. There are those analog type sequencers or midi to cv conversion, but Im just not int...

Midi is a bit sluggish. I think trigger inputs would have tighter and more accurate timing. Check out the Dynacord ADD One Drum sampler

mpc 60 and din

How can I start and stop DIN sync devices with an mpc 60? Not reset to the beginning of course. Is there a midi to din device with multiple Din outs?

Plus, the old synthi's are different than the new ones. Older parts. The flaws are half the features.
