"Lethal Dose" - MS-20 and Serge

http://www.REwiremusic.com/Audio/REwire ... l_Dose.mp3

2:58 length 256mbps Mp3

All the bass is MS-20. Serge Creature plays alll the scratchy FM type noises. Some string samples and Euro Modular for all else. My voice now has a death metal sound of sorts.

Re: I ordered my modular!

yea another vco is my plan for next module, just not sure what yet. You should order a second VCO as soon as possible. The AFG has many outputs but you have nothing to do FM or detuning with. The A-147 is also too slow to get up to audio rates to do FM. Good choices so far! I'd recommend the TipTop...

It's was a long while ago when I commented that you should mix better and you definitely have. The depth and warmth of your mixes is great and the melody's are still as good as ever. I like this one and the Vocoder "Nice" was kinda suprising the way it jumped in and added a lot.

There's some quality sounds in there! the vocals were lost on me, but i heard something about mascara LOL. i'd love to hear some genuine versions of those tunes--i mean by you. Thanks for listening. Funny thing is, I can't understand most of the lyrics of the originals, which were: Skinny Puppy - "...

Industrial Wreckage - Parody of 4 Famous Ind. Bands

I tried to stick with equipment that was around when the original songs were made:

1- ProphetVS, Minimoog
2- ProphetVS, DX7, KorgDVP1 Voice Processor
3 -MS-20
4- Vanguard VSTi, Nord Lead 2

h**l yah! Teebee's are hard to find yet alone one for $150. I've seen them for $600-800 before. You ought to be able to get the Jup for $400.

I have 5 Kenton Pro-Solo2's and 1 Pro-2000. I love the Kentons for one big reason: Auto-Portamento. It turns legato playing into portamento so I can get 303 type slides based on playing.

The Dual Filters in the MS-20 are amazing for processing external sounds. Run a drum loop through it and with the HP Resonance up and the HP Cutoff low. The kick will go into massive sub territory and the LP Filter's Resonance boosts the hihats for a massive sound.

I just have 1 TF1 in it's box (a 116). Lot's of extra room in there so I use it to store stuff. I did test out a 802 and liked the 116 more; sorta louder and like's been said, grittier.

I started my Euro modular with the idea of making a Synthi with the ASystems EMS Licensed stuff. I didn't know it until I got a real VCS3, but there was no similarity in sound. The Filters are similar but half of the Synthi's sound is the vintage Oscs, which are uncopyable. I exhaustedly tuned my VC...

While there are artifacts of conversion from both iMovie and YouTube, the essential timbre remains unchanged from the original recordings. I might encourage you to record 8 seconds of unfiltered oscillator from your synths and see how they differ. Also, looking at your studio... correct me if I'm w...
