Re: reese dubstep bass

Once again, Detroit does it first. From 1988.

Re: Sequentix Cirklon pre-order!

You know how I said springtime?

;)

Production is finally getting underway. Pre-orderers, check your e-mails.

Non-pre-ordererers, you wanted pricing? Here you go:

Basic model: £999
With CV I/O: £1199

More than the P3, but it's safe to say the Cirklon is much improved.

Re: Sequentix Cirklon pre-order!

Just thought I'd update this. Colin is having supply issues with the knobs he's using. Units are being put together, but very slowly. He said there are more pre-orders than he really expected, so it's still going to be a bit of a wait. However, the analogue bits are now finalised. 16 CV outs, 8 conf...

Re: Sequentix Cirklon pre-order!

That Youtube video is from Paul Nagle, a P3 owner who wrote the review of said item for Sound on Sound. He and a couple of other people that Colin knows are doing some beta testing of the Cirklon. So yes, there are units "in the wild," but nothing that anyone can actually buy. More than likely the o...

Re: Sequentix Cirklon pre-order!

Quick update for those of you wondering about the price: The configuration of the CV outputs are what is holding up a final number. It should be decided soon.

Sequentix Cirklon pre-order!

Now that my e-mail is sent off, ensuring I beat the rest of you bastards, those of you who are interested (a fair number, judging by my P3 sale-a-thon) will probably want to go here: http://www.sequentix.com/cirklon.htm I voted for silver, but we got outvoted. Past the pretty pictures is the pre-ord...

Re: Synth used to make the intro to Born Slippy

Damn internets, erasing stuff.

Well, since this thread isn't buried like it was, I'll just re-answer.

The synth is a Waldorf Microwave. Rick Smith himself said as much during one of Underworld's internet broadcasts.

Re: Rate my bone!

Very nice. I see that you have a FS1R and FM8, as do I. It's odd how I still use both all the time, they feel like two totally different synths to me...which doesn't make sense.

Re: dsi pe - wooden panels only a fancy option?

I've never seen black sides on any Evolver keyboard, are you sure that's not a custom paint job or new sides?

I didn't know they made a pot edition either, I've only ever seen the regular model (number 2).

I kept waiting for the Ramones to appear and beat the s**t out of them.

That I said, I like the look of those controller thingies.

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_rScBRKlTdoE/S040W-uIkXI/AAAAAAAAs5o/Qhi8YMNectM/s1600/apc20_ortho_lg.png A couple of knobs would've been way great instead of sliders. Oh well. The controllers are starting to show up. An MPD26 and some keyboard for the iPhone from Akai as well. Oh man, I have an APC40 and...

Re: MFB news: New analog CV sequencer and Kraftzwerg expander

My new Step64 works fine. Although it's a lot simpler than the synths and drum machines they make, so I guess it just depends on the product.
