Re: No CV/Gate from Kenton Pro 2000mkii Aux ports
Checking with a multimeter sounds like a good idea. I'm not sure if these aux outputs are sending anything...

No CV/Gate from Kenton Pro 2000mkii Aux ports
Is there any reason why my Kenton Pro 2000 mkii aux channels are not putting signals out to my cv/gate synth? It used to work with no problem. All the ports 1-6 seem unresponsive. I'm trying to control a Sequential Pro One on midi channel 5. Aux 1 - Receive channel = 5 ------V/Oct from notes ------F...

Re: Vibrating Pro One
Thanks all! Yeah I realized I should have stuck this in the help section, but the synth is functioning beautifully so I was asking more as a curiosity. If this is the transformer, is it an indication of it going bad? Shouldn't be too hard to swap out for a new one, that is if I can even find the rig...

Re: Vibrating Pro One
It is plugged in to the same as the rest of all my other (non-vibrating) gear. The ground pin on the power cord is fully intact.
It's just an all over vibration. I haven't felt for a source, but I will when I get back to it. There are no modifications as far as I can tell. I think she is stock.

Vibrating Pro One
I have a Sequential Circuits Pro One. When it's powered on I feel a very light constant vibration. Is this normal?
I know it sounds funny, but it's true.

Re: Arp Odyssey note/key error
Good to know about the 15V. Thank you for that. I would love to take it in for a reconditioning/overhaul/repairs, but I'm really strapped for cash at the moment and I need to get some recording done. Hmm I don't remember it being this way a few years ago when I used to sequence it with an Atari and ...

Arp Odyssey note/key error
Hello VSEers! Long time no see! I have a (hopefully minor) problem with my Odyssey Mk2 2810. There is something keeping it from staying on the proper scale D#3 and lower in the Logic piano roll. D#3 and D3 both play D#3 and then the scale picks back up as normal all the rest of the way down. Normal ...

Same here about recording to a computer unless you count using an Atari to sequence with. The S-950 is great as a drum bank. Very nice with its native multiple outputs and convenient HD floppy drive. And to concur, it is pretty easy to use, just can be a bit tedious when setting up kits and editing ...

Can somebody please explain?
How does the keyboard technology work in my Arp Odyssey? I noticed that it has a long rod that spans the length of the keyboard and each key has its own tine that makes contact with the rod. Is there a resistor on each key resisting electricity in different amounts to get each note or something? I d...

Damn! I can't believe this synth sells for so much money!!! The samples here on VSE sound worse than me taking a c**p on top of an AMC Gremlin.

Pulling ROM chips
I am wondering if there is a way to pull out ROM chips without damaging (bending) the pins of the old ones you are pulling out. When I upgraded my OS ROMs in my Atari 1040ST I had to pull (pried from underneath at first) them up and out a little on each side, alternating sides until it was ready to ...

Customer experiences with Sequential Wine Country
Please let me know what your experiences are with Sequential Wine Country. Their site seems a little rag-tag. I need to order new OS chips for my P600 and Drumtraks. Do they send stuff out quickly? Ever ran into problems of them not having things in stock that are "available" on their site?
Thanks.
Thanks.
