Re: Is Volca Beats/Bass/Keys/FM and D-05 good?

Consider switching the volca beats for the volca sample, a lot, lot better for making better and more complex beats. I have the D05, volca keys and sample, and they are all great machines. Used to have the volca beats, but i sold it since i have the V Sample which is simply amazing for making beats.

Re: Arturia BSP/Moog Source?

For those who are interested, I could already make the arpeggiator of The Source work in sync with the Beatstep Pro. The sync out of the BSP must be connected to the sync in of the Source and the output of a trigger of the BSP analog battery sequencer, must also be connected to the input "reset in" ...

Re: Arturia BSP/Moog Source?

I haven´t had the time to make the cables to control the Source with the Beatstep Pro via CV, but yesterday I tried to synchronize both machines through the clock output of the BSP to the DIN Syn of the Moog and the result is that the sync works partially with the Moog sequencer and not with the arp...

Re: Arturia BSP/Moog Source?

Are you having trouble soldering those mini jack plugs?? If so, just get an RCA to 3.5mm mono adapter such as this one: https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTyao7ZOGEPP2ZWADdp3SBviK_YoPe_mldsDSKNcPMdb1nDTEWGww Because those are much more practical than the chunky 6.35 to 3.5 mm ada...

Re: Arturia BSP/Moog Source?

Thank you very much man! looking forward to run a setup with the BSP, hope it can fulfill my expectations. For the sequences I mainly use an Alesis MMt-8 and a Roland MC50 or the sequencer of the VFX sd which are awesome, but those three machines are now kind of faulty, so I was thinking buying an M...

Re: Arturia BSP/Moog Source?

You shouldn't have any problems... Just remember to change the "Gate Out" of the BSP to "S-Trigger" (via the Midi Control Center software) and you'll be good to go. Great! I am concerned about the interface on the Source, because the conctions are in two ways: CV out/in, in the same cable, also in ...

Arturia BSP/Moog Source?

Hi all, I’m getting a Beat Step Pro this weekend and one of the things I want to try is to control a Moog Source. In theory is possible. Has anyone tried it? Any Tips?

Re: What would be a nice companion to my Juno 60?

Vangelis having 2 Juno 106's to the 15 plus boards on his station is very different than me with one Juno 60 in my station looking for complimentary ensemble. Lol The point of my post is that analog synthesizers blend perfectly well with FM and digital synthesizers, this supporting the suggestion t...

Re: I have a soft spot for...

Without a doubt my Korg Poly 800, I have had two of them, and one Poly 800 II. If you respect it's limitations and like ambient sounds it's a revelation of a synth.

Another cheapo soft spot, Alesis HR 16. A great, great drum machine that you can get for peanuts.

Re: Ensoniq VFX SD sequencer OS

I've finally got a copy of the OS of the sequencer for the VFX and it is awesome, sucha nice and easy to use sequencer. The unique wave synthesis, polyphony, effects and sequencer make this synth a winner.
