I should probably consult Bruce and Cynthia regarding their modules. The Cyndustries modules look very nice, but I'm not entirely sure what use some of them have. I'm definately interested in the Synthacon VCF though. It's too bad she doesn't still make the Milton sequencer! I suppose I should have ...

I believe all the modern modular systems sound awesome anyways. I don't think there is a "bad" one out there. I bought myself a Doepfer system last May during AH's two year ann. sale. Since then I've regretted it. Eurorack is too small and cramped for me. Not to mention Doepfer's VCOs and VCFs (IMH...

Modcan Users.
I've been thinking about putting some money away for a Modcan system. Only trouble is, I've never played one or even talked to someone who has a system. Analogue Haven has stopped carrying them. So what does everyone think? The demos sound brilliant, but I can't go soley on MP3s.

You may want to give this a look. Haven't tried it (yet) but it looks promising. Similar to the Ableton live arp mentioned above.

Seems like a lot of us have a lot of the same stuff (i.e. MicroKorg, Electribes, TR machines). Here are some of my one liners of gear I own and used to own, if anyone's still reading this far. I'll review my samplers too! MicroKorg - Looks like plastic, sounds like plastic but can get the job done. ...

I'm with Clueless. If the SH-2 can be fixed, buy it. Scratch that. Even if your friend's dad can't fix it, buy it anyways and send it to a real tech for fixin'. Trouble is, how many synth techs do you have in Norway? I have an SH-2 and can vouch for it 100%. Everytime I talk about it, I'm obligated ...

MIDI Controller help!
I bought myself one of those M-Audio Radium 49 key controllers and an Uno USB/MIDI interface. My trouble is that neither Reaktor, FruityLoops or Ableton Live are recognizing either of these new devices. Obviously I want to use the key controller to play my VSTs and the Uno to sequence my rack sample...

All of the disks I use for my S900 are HD. They work just fine. So if you have an S900, my guess is that DD and HD will both work. I know mine does atleast. Probably a better idea to hold out for the S950 anyways though. I wish I had. But my S900 has the optional 8 trigger input board, which I'm tol...

The Drumatic VST is free and not so bad. I enjoy it.
