Miami Horror "Echoplex" Synth Bass

Hi Everyone! I am desperately trying to recreate the synth bass patch used in the song "Echoplex" by Miami Horror. It sounds like a piece of cake to program upon first listen, but it seems that thinking it is easy to recreate can be misleading. I've spent quite a bit of time trying to nail this soun...

Re: Need your help to recreate bass patch...Please Help!

Sounds to me like oscillator sync was used, so it would have been the Odyssey. Take two oscillators, sync them, and tune the synced one up 2 or 3 octaves and see what you get. With some tweaking you should be able to get it. Sounds like the bottom end of the sound was rolled off with an EQ as well....

I have been desperately wanting to recreate the synth bass sound in Camel's song "Aristillus" but I've spent hours and hours twisting knobs and i cant even get close! After a lot of internet digging and scouring i found out that during the recording of the album that song is on, Camel only used a Mi...

My first synths were a Peavey DPM2, a Korg Electribe EA-1 and a ER-1. The DPM2 was sequenced with an older version of cakewalk and recorded with Turtle Beach Quad 4-track recording software. I traded them in eventually for better gear. I don't miss the DPM2, it was an awful synth, but I miss having ...

ESQ-1 problems

Hi everyone, my esq-1 has recently started acting very strange. It reboots itself randomly, changes values automatically, displays garbled characters, and never stays at the same tempo while using the sequencer. Anyone seen this kind of weirdness before? I really hope it's not dying on me, i love my...

Sizzlemeister was great to deal with. We arranged a semi-local pickup, and it went very smoothly.

P.S. Rich, hope you're enoying the Fusion!

Bought a Paia modular a while back from Blue Monster 65, and ended up selling it to Little Rough Rhinestone. Both were excellent to deal with, I highly recommend them.
