Actually I had a Juno-106 in very good condition of cosmetic and its functions both.
But I sold it 2 month ago and I regret doing that.

You didn't mention if it does this if you switch Gate/Trig to just Gate, but assuming it does,it sounds as if the internal Gate signal is intermittant.
