Re: KLM-367a build

Thanks, How'd you get hold of Old Crow? I thought he closed up shop? Kiwi seems like a worthwhile investment if you know nothing else is broken (which I don't). Synthprof seems like THE expert - being associated with the board designer/maker; but the process seems cumbersome and the cost isn't far f...

KLM-367a build

Greetings all, Been searching through here looking for a tech who builds Korg Polysix KLM-367a boards. I've found a few shops here to try and send inquiries to, but thought I would throw out the overhead question to see if anyone has found any recent/new leads. Just looking for one board build and I...

The return of Mr. Duke...

Hey Folks, Hopefully some of you remember me; but if not, that's OK too. Re-settled and back to the old habits again. Figured I'd wait 'til I had something of substance to report, so here goes: Got me an Andromeda last week. WHOA! What a monster! I'll be changing my sig next because this thing's def...

Thanks for the replies. I appreciate the first hand experiences of those of you fortunate enough to have worked with both. I'll probably hold out for the JP-8 seeing as how the 2 actually compare. As I suspected; nothing seems to replace the JP-8. In the meantime, I'll be shipping my JP-6 controller...

JP-8 / V-Synth frustration

Been searching for a JP-8 for about a year now and they seem to be getting pricier and pricier (as well as older and older). I'm now thinking that I'll opt for a "V" instead (after all; Nick replaced his JP with a V). My research has shown that the "V" will do everything the JP does, plus more (and ...

I've had great luck with Sweetwater for even the most obscure parts (springs, keys, screws, etc.) and got my upgrades from them as well. Plus they have a ton of downloads for the K2000 series on the 'net.
