Re: SOLVED! No logo or model on vintage synthesizer?!

Seriously? This is one of a whole bunch of mass produced "keyboards" that made their way onto Central and Eastern European bazaars (had a few), it doesn't really _have_ a producer as it was branded by a lot of importers as their own. One of a few noticeable differences was Medeli that introduced a l...

Here's a better picture. Not quite MKB-300 it seems but there are a lot of similarities: https://zuijfa.dm.files.1drv.com/y4pV8C3Hfeh-moje-DJ2dag3JodyyWSaMBZJ_lCGsTCDCaUi1gLbV3J8LxTxMqYlBe60McVEHdqhVnf1FTVgEyw4jSWnPjvXuLhxWDJYNDLRB5-FjNYz7ztA-QKWOldr2O5Runzh_nrBZRUwnKOjnPmFyq54zbqqWxUP3i5E6_IJQDhx1...

The Enigma stuff is 01W in its entirety (in fact, a preset - can't tell you the name right now, because my 01R/W is still comatose).
The other is a simple patch with immense pitch envelope slope or slow LFO ramp-up modulation retriggered.

Most likely you blew a fuse and if you replace it, the SCSI port will come back to life.

Re: JP8080 acting unpredictably - any suggestions?

Two years later and the JP8080 may need it's battery changed again - does anyone know does it help the battery life if I leave it plugged in (not switched on, just plugged in)? If that's an ordinary CR2032 or similar, barely. This device isn't a soft-on/standby machine, so it won't make a differenc...

Re: Analog mixer for Recording: Soundcraft 200b or Yamaha RM

If you like multitracking then RM800 is for you, because it has dedicated tape outputs and inputs, plus 8 busses, which is quite unusual for that class of mixer. 200B is more of a downmix device. I heard a lot of good things about RM800, although I have never owned one - it's actually quite rare on ...

Re: a synthesizer sounds production question

Can you rephrase the question into something less convoluted? It reads like you were high on something when you wrote it... Anyway, certain sounds are results of a specific characteristics (often electronic signal path) of a synthesizer, so there won't be equal-but-opposite way to recreate it, if th...

Thanks
As long as we won't see the output voltages, we won't know for sure - but the probability is high. it seems someone modded an AT PC power supply here, and omitted cooling.

Re: Kawai K1r - K4r

It does contain some similar sounding samples, but it's a completely different synth - so not compatible with K1 in any way.

Re: Korg T3 distort on a lot of sounds on all outputs

Check voltage on the PSU, there's a very common problem with cold solders on old Korg power supplies, also one MOSFET breaks over time.
