Re: New Owner of an Moog LP Stage II edition

Grats mate! I'm thinking about going to Guitar Center tomorrow to spend a few hours on the LP, but... mustt....resissttttt...neeeeeeeeedd...... now!

I'll probably end up buying it if I go, so I need to stay far away from that place.

Too bad I don't get that channel. :(
Anyone else see it? I thought it was great! I'm usually not impressed by televised performances.

MPC?

I second the MPC, that's the way I'm going. But if you don't want to deal with sampling or MIDI sequencing an external unit, you may have better luck with one of those Roland things (MC-909, Fantom). I went from an MPC to an MC-808 and now am going back. The MPC is very intuitive, rock-solid, and fu...

Hmm

I'm also interested to hear if anyone has experience doing this. I wanted to try it at one point, but didn't have the cash for all that gear, and now I'm MPC-less. I wouldn't imagine there would be any more delay than using a MIDI keyboard to trigger sounds. Is your intention to capture recordings/j...

Nord Lead 2 Key Sticks, Contact Problem?

I called a guy about a Nord Lead 2 this morning and I'd like to buy it, but he mentioned that one of the black keys sticks. He said he has a new contact ordered for it that should fix the problem. Is anyone familiar with the this problem? Anything I should be wary of when testing out the keyboard? I...

Same here.

I've had some of the same problems with the MC-808, but I just got it and I haven't had time to dig in and find out what I'm doing wrong. I'll keep you posted when I find out more.

Live with the MC-808/MC-909

The problem I have been having with my MPC1000 is that I want to be able to easily bring electronic drums and sequenced synth lines to live shows without getting all MIDI on everything. Beyond live shows I want an intuitive writing tool that I can use away from my computer. I don't want to tie up th...

Re: Condenser Mic For Recording Vocals / Acoustic Guitar

Seeing as how i dont know jack about mics. Anyone know of a decent condenser mic for about $100.00 - $150.00? Could be used or new either or. I would try too look for a Rode NT1-A . This is what I'll be getting, and it should be in your range. Though I don't know much about mics, I have done a bit ...

i traded my micron for 6r just a while ago and was quite happy :) micromodular is perfectly respectable synth, i guess may be even the best in modular series. don't go for ion, you'll be dissapointed + it's still a lot of menue diving. if you definitely need something new and hands on, at least wai...

mmmmmmmmmmmms2k

What's up Joey? Did you get an MS2k? Okay, first to get rid of the vibrato thing, you need to menu dive into the Pitch settings, and change Vibrato Intensity to what suits you. Next, to apply other effects to the mod wheel, use the Virtual Patch knobs and buttons to apply modulation or whatever to M...
