Re: Favorite "dirty" synth?

I think the Radias is great at producing digital grit.
The comb-filter + wave shaper does the trick so well that I haven't really explored the distortion, tube preamp or cabinet fx yet

Re: Band useage of synths

I don't really care what kind of gear other bands use to get THAT sound, but when i jam with my friends (in their stoner/doom/sludge/trance/psychodelic band) i prefer to use crappy "outdated" gear. Usually a Korg Poly61 or a Casio MT-40 and a fuzzpedal + phaser and whatever else kind of pedals that ...

Will the Old School survive a EMP blast, since it doesn't have any digital components?

:P

Micron in 5/4, how do i get it to sync with Protools LE?

Well, the title says it all, really.
I'm brand new to Protools, and i have no clue as to how i get a song i made in 5/4 tempo to sync with Protools since the Micron is built for 4/4 ideally.

the juno-D was the first keyboard i bought. I used for about a year learning keys, but eventually i got bored with its lack of sequencer and bought a Fusion 6hd and made a straight trade between the D and a micron. some times i still miss it tho. I really liked the keys, the sound was good and the f...

Yeah, i know the Saffore LE gets high marks on this board, but costs 100$ more, and i dont think i need all those outputs (or do i?). I'll only record as a hobby, nothing too advanced, just guitar, bass, synths and vocal. I don't have any amps, which is the main reason why i thougt the Toneport woul...

The Line 6 Toneport

Does anyone have any opinions about the Toneport UX2? It seems like a great soundcard for its price, but there's this feeling I can't shake that I only want it because it's red and has VU-meters. Is recording my synths going to be a pain compaired with other soundcards? does it lack some esscential ...

I didn't own any synths while I went to high school, just a banjo and a broken melodica. Got a Juno-D after I graduated and thats what I'm still using.
(bought a Fusion of ebay recently tho')

Juno-D midi-issues

When I use my Juno-D in combination with a M-Audio midi/usb-cabel and my computer some keys on the keyboard act as if they were sustained(usually just one key at a time), and it seems to be random which key's affected. I also can't seem to change the midi-channal the synth sends out, it's always loc...
