Modern replacement / approximation of the Yamaha CS 30 ?

I am considering selling my Yamaha CS 30 to fund other various studio needs and free up some space in the short term, to be replaced soon after by a more modern alternative. This is not definite, but I trust fellow for...

after watching the videos again, I must update my original standpoint and say I am very impressed by the sounds and textures this instrument creates

can we expect a non "signature" edition with a lower price tag in the future?

WOW. No disrespect to Amos or anyone else at Moog but I think this really misses the mark and could have filled a need and dominated it. I have an ebow and some great axes and I have sustain for days. I am almost shocked this was not the MIDI guitar controller to shut everyone up. The most e...

Didn't Bob Moog admit getting ideas after seeing Raymond Scott's huge setup on his estate in Long Island, NY? I think this is mentioned in the Moog documentary perhaps. If I recall, Scott used a series of traffic light switches as a huge step sequencer to control oscillators he had build in a machin...

also with regards to the sh101..

mine was leaning against one of my racks on its side and slid away from the rack, landing on it's back.

from that point on, the release slider has no effect and all sounds are at maximum release if the key is hit quickly

Wait - is this a real synth or some photoshop funny business?

You are going to tell me there is a market for THAT and not for a new analog from one of the major Japanese players??

Musician's Friend is still around? I would highly recommend Nova Musik. I also can't help but remember commenting a while back, after demoing a P-08, how I thought the build quality left quite a bit to be desired. The same was said by quite a few others. Seems like the rack would be less prone to br...
