It's not getting much attention around here but I'm interested in knowing what you guys think about it. Namely the quality of the analog synth samples and how convincing it is making analog synth bass lines.
can it replace a pro-one or a SH2 for basic bass sounds?

Re: poly with Moog Little Phatty
check out the nord wave. I think it's the best fit for what you want. It won't reach the sonic quality of a prophet VS (one of the best ever made imo) but it gets really close and it's a great synth to gig with (only 13lbs!!). Plus it takes samples so you can load extra material for your gigs if you...

LCD contrast on a SE-1x
I got it without the manual and I can't find where to tweak the LCD contrast. Is there a key combination or something?

Re: DSI MoPho
Some MoPho loops generated during betatesting: http://www.trippler.net/files/p1/loops/ Not exactly representative for the unit because nearly all patches have some kind of Filter-FM, Feedback or audio rate modulations, but maybe someone is interested to listen to them. They're from a beta stage whe...

mks50 and mks80 sound differences
sorry for the stupid question and I'm not trying to know the spec differences. I just got a alpha juno 2 and I'm really enjoying the way it sounds. A bit dark but perfect for bass and leads. i never noticed before in the amount of different waveforms you get. It's amazing bass machine. Now to the qu...

if you're not after the analog sound then your best bet is a nord modular G2. You can store patches (and work on them later) and and you can have multiple ones in a given patch (you're going to need lots of sequencers, logic modules, quantizers, etc). To have this flexibility in hardware you'd need ...
