Always be careful on eBay, look at the seller's previous auctions and feedback. I have a Signature Series and love it, totally silent backlight. I'm not sure I need 967 presets on a Minimoog  but what the h**l. I'm not sure what the other version 3 features were since mine was preinstalled wi...

Cool demo. That reminded me of half the movie soundtracks from the '80s.

http://img86.imageshack.us/img86/6198/newa6ah6.jpg woohoo :D And the final 5 modules needed to fill my .com modular arrived this week. Nice. Looks like one of those old ladies who keep the plastic on their furniture. :) I got a Moog VX-351 for early Christmas from the wife. My mother in law gave us...

Yeah, the MOTM stuff is very musical. And the full-size versions feel incredible. (They should, with $8 pots and $2 knobs.) As for Frac, I've heard lot of people go from Frac to MOTM or Dotcom, but almost no one who went the other direction.

there just nothing else out there that sounds like this, none of the modern modular manufacturers, as good in their own right, evem ones going for the moog vibe, cannot pin down this elusive character. damn.,.., Mos-Lab is getting some good reviews online: http://www.mos-lab.com/ I'm starting to bu...

Keyboard Toto transcription request

Around 2003, Keyboard published a transcription of David Paich's solo in "Jake To The Bone" from Kingdom of Desire. Does anyone still have this issue? If so, would you be willing to scan that page for me? It will save me hours of transcribing since a band I'm in is going to attempt the tune. Thanks.

with Stromberg still being vaporware, i dont know if there will in fact be some serious updates to the wavetabling engine, to filter/oscillator modelling and most importantly to analog filtering circuit (multimode please....!!!!), or it will turn out only a fancy-designed-repackaged Q+. Solaris has...

How were my kicks? Give me feedback if you hear room for improvement. I wasn't mad about the click on the attack, but I doubt you'd notice it (or may even welcome it) in a mix.

I got a nice 808 kick on the Voyager following these examples. I would record it if I wasn't so lazy.

It's really not. Look at the original post, on a diver web board. The guy doesn't even mention the Roland, he talks about fish the whole time. But it's probably only been there for a week or so.

Tape over the "Oberheim OB" logo, because it's none of those. If you still like it, then great. Just don't fall for the marketing.

It's copyright of the photographer. You can contact him at the link in the first post to ask about licensing it. Just because it's on the internet doesn't mean it's free. :)

He's on the cover of Keyboard Magazine this month (11/07). There's an interview with him and a shot of his current live setup.
