Xiosynth Vs. K-station

I currently own a K-station and really really love it, but I have been looking at controllers lately and wondering if it would help me at all to buy a xiosynth even though I would keep my K-station, or would it be better to just buy an axiom or something.

Found them on craigslist in my area. I paid $80 for both. I thought that was a pretty good deal, but I could be mistaken.

Casio AZ-1

Does anyone have a manual for one of these. Got one really cheap as a package deal with a Kawai K3m. No manual though, so don't know if I'm using it right or if anything is not functioning properly. Also, has anyone here ever used one of these things?

Does anyone know how much the battery repair would cost? And I'm still kinda in the dark about sampling it. I wanted an analog synth to add some classic sounds to my music, which is a 80's minimal kinda sound. The Mc-909 I have kinda sucks for good sounds like that, so I figure I could sample the co...

Did I overpay for it? I won it at $87.01, it was like $56 till the last 3 seconds =( I really suck at playing the keyboard, so I'm worried I possibly wasted my money. WOuld it bee too bad to sample it? I mean, I would technically be "sampling" it if I recorded it into a song, correct?

Kawai SX 210

I have a few questions about this synth. 1. Does it sound as good as the SX 240? 2. Does anyone have a link to someone with the instructions to replace the battery? 3. Is there anyway to retrofit it with MIDI? 4. If you can't retrofit MIDI and you are not a good pianist, is it best to sample the sou...

If I connected the sp-606 to the Mc-909 though, would that take care of any polyphony issues? (considering the 606 has only 8 voices). The polyphony on the 606 is actually not a big problem for me considering it has the p606 software and you can write loops in there and then import them to 1 pad on ...

Roland MC-909 question urgent

I already have a Roland sp-606, but I have a good offer to buy a 2 yr old MC-909 for $750 with the srx studio expansion and the ram upgrade as well as a 128mb Smartmedia card. I was wondering if I would want to get rid of the sp-606 after having this or would it be smart to keep both and use them to...

I tried both of them at a guitar center and it seemed like the sp 606 was a little easier to use. I was also lead to believe that the sp 606 had step sequencer abilities. Am I correct? I want to be able to make intricate and odd rythms. It seems like the sp 606 could do this. But maybe it can't? Let...

Roland sp-606 vs Korg Electribe ESX

I am looking at both and wanted to know which one is better overall. Also, I want to make industrial music, more specifically power noise, and wanted to know which one was better for that. Thank you.
