Re: Waldorf Q/XT Voice Expansion clone project

I'm on the list. Just a few more to go!

Really hope this happens. Had an XT30 once and have been kicking myself for ever letting it go.

Especially I like that Waldorf did not try to make any usb integration like virus ti. That needs so much resources that the company would not survive if they had to support everybody and fix the plugin all the time. MIDI + audio always work and it is a much better idea to put the effort in making a...

How much polyphony do you need? Perhaps you could buy multiple EX-800s and build a device to poly-chain them.

Mega-mega-thanks to the site maintainer(s?)! VSE is a great resource when learning about synths, especially when you want to buy one. Those who say "play it in a store first" don't realize that there may not be such a store within a thousand miles. Most of us aren't rich enough to hop on a plane sim...

Quite the putton for glunishment, aren't we?
Time does strange things to a person. I'm ready to believe again.

I'm quite interested in the P8, but I'd NEVER sell an A6 to finance one.

The Andromeda remains my favorite sounding synth. It's not the complexity nor the Moog/Obie emulation that I care about ... it's the sound. The A6 just has a special character that speaks to me more than any other synth. I was one of the unlucky ones who got a unit for the "bad batch" a year ago. It...
