Re: I've just got Yamaha Electone D85
I had the D80 about 2 years ago. unfortunately I had to give it away because of space constraints. I wanted to expand those presets into knobs and sliders so bad. The one thing I really liked with the mini monosynth keyboard was the after touch...or more accurately the after wiggle. Moving the whole...

Yeah Yeah Yeahs - It's Blitz (New Album)
It's been forever since I've been on here but I just wanted to see if anybody has gotten a chance to hear the Yeah Yeah Yeahs new album yet. It came out for digital download just about a week ago, and will be available on CD on April 30th. Unlike their previous albums that were mostly guitar with a ...

It lost the patch memory is all. Either there are no batteries in it or the batteries that are in it are dead. I'm not sure what the the MicroKorg adapter is like but the Poly800 needs to be 9 volts DC with the tip negative and the ring positive. The broken LED sucks though...making it pretty much i...

Already been there with my Yamaha TX802. The BCR2000 won't work because it doesn't output sysex streams. The answer is the CME Bitstream 3x: http://www.cme-pro.com/en/product-detail.php?product_id=6 There are only a very few controllers that will send out sysex controls for older synth modules. The...

The reason it didn't sound like it on your minikorg is because the square wave isn't even square...go ahead and take a look at it with an oscilliscope...or a software oscilliscope. You need a true square waveform to get that sound. Also I think the pulse width is not set to exactly square in that cl...

Well my MaxiKorg can actually do this so I tried it out. Unfortunatley it sounds mostly like a saw and a square wave together with just a little bit of pulsing...nothing too exciting...until you mix them to different stereo channels. Then it starts pulsating with a bit more square on one side then m...

I guess taking a look at their legacy product list confirms that the lack of the Ion on their current product list is not an accidental oversight.

Wow you guys are lucky...in my town (of about 100,000+ people) we don't even have a Guitar Center...The closest one is in Vegas about 2 hours away. The only keyboard instruments they have here are ones like the Yamaha PSR series. The highest quality we have is the Casio Privia series. No romplers, n...

I was going to suggest that trick of running 100% wet, 0% feedback through your E1005, but you already know that one. I'm almost 95% sure I'm gonna get one of those Hiwatt tape echoes, one of the reasons will be for that kind of thing. Yeah I bought a Simms-Watts Echo Dek tape reverb off eBay that ...

Hi wiss, So it will accept cc# messages. But are you saying it has trouble digesting cc# messages on the fly? Say, I program the Kenton for filter cutoff. The JX-10 would have trouble with a filter sweep in a live scenario? Thanks again for your help! The JX-10 does not respond to Midi CC#'s. Well ...

There's the Guyatone Tape Echo unit. I have no idea how it sounds or if it's even close to a Space Echo. I'm not sure what kind of tape it take either...ie tape loop, cartridges...
It's modern though.
