Re: Acid Live jam (EMX & FR Revolution)

hat track would certainly fit well in a live show :) nice sounds, but a little too much of the same if you ask me (i.e too long), but that's the nature of jams I guess :) nice use of your gear, and as always, brilliant sounds :) Heh, yeah. I tried not to throw in everything I got this time. What us...

Re: Acid Live jam (EMX & FR Revolution)

Nice work! I really enjoyed that track. Man, I've always wanted a 309 but I always pass up the opportunity when one's available. How is it for live tweaking? Thanks! The 309 is just fine for basic stuff like muting/unmuting and playing with the controls found in the front panel. I always use it for...

Woah, thanks guys! And yeah, 90's all the way! ;)
I have always enjoyed the electronic music from that period, especially the early house and techno stuff.

i wouldn't mind this happening half as much if it was something gradual -- like, say, over the course of a year or so. but this is pretty sudden; it went from working 100% to screwy in a few weeks time (if even that). Oh, i forgot that. In my case it was more like it gradually became harder and har...

Re: Korg EMX-1: some buttons aren't working well anymore...

I have the same problem, but only with the step keys from 1 to 16. I have had my unit since 2004. I have also looked inside and either I looked the problem from the wrong place, or I ididn't look hard enough because I didn't see anything special in the stepkeys' contactsurfaces. They look identical ...

Only just noticed the black version the other day tho I do prefer my whitey (not wanting to sound racist or anything) 8-[ Heh, same here. I don't like the white-on-grey version that much. I wish it was darker, or even black. The new R2 unit, designated by the gun metal grey chassis, has an updated ...

If I remember correctly you still get the output from channel 3/4, but headphones and 1&2 outs are affected by the tube.

(This has nothing to do with anything, so carry on:)

I replaced mine with a pair of JJ Electronics' "ECC 83 S"-tubes. I had a weird problem where I lost the right(or left) output almost completely. I don't know if tubes were responsible, but replacing them did the trick. About them sounding different; I guess they might sound a bit different than the ...

I can only think of the electribes. Korg's Electribe ES-1 MKII and maybe even the more expensive Electribe SX. They are VERY easy to use, BUT if you are planning on transferring samples from your computer you either have to manually sample them (record via input), or use one of those old SmartMedia ...
