well, mastering will make a huge difference when you bring your track into a studio and run each channel through the desk and process each channel. except at that point, you would still just be mixing , not mastering...  no you're right, I was clumping that all together when I used the...

I dunno if mastering does that much... Like it cranks it up a bit but it has to be a good mix. This bloke called Nilesh Patel did Daft Punks stuff and I think it'd probably be the same guy cause they're on the same label and all that Ed Banger stuff sounds similar. Although I do like it. If I ever ...

You wanna hear an MS20's at it's best IMO, check out Mr Oizo's Analog Worms Attack. Yah, yah!!!!!!!!!! Still can't get over how badass that album is. The sticker on the cover caught my eye since I recognized the puppet from the Levi's commercial. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't have got that album u...

I had both (currently the LP right now). I just sold my MS20. I loved the MS20 for the filter but it really depends on what type of music you want to make. I personally found having no midi as my main issue with it, no patch memory does suck but thats old school analog. I had a cv/midi converter so ...

Culture Vulture vs Fatso

anybody have either of the 2 to give their personal review? I basically want to warm up my Virus TI and even the other analog synths that I have. I also want to experiment running the master through the unit for overall warmth. I produce dance music so I won't be using guitars or acoustic drums. Or ...

thanks guys for the help. I sold the pro-one and nord last week and received the Virus TI desktop = A M A Z I N G. I'm blown away by it. Just being able to do all these crazy modulations to it with the onboard fx, etc. Best money I've ever spent. Going to sell my se1x now too, this thing does it all!

hmmm, ok, I like what your saying. Makes sense. Could I also use the Virus as an audio processor?

sell pro-one & JP6 for either Prophet 08 or Virus TI or.

Ok, gotta few questions here. I have a other gear but right now I'm pondering selling the pro one & JP-6 (with Europa mod) and buying a Prophet 08 or a Virus TI or something like an Empirical Labs Fatso for processing. I love the sounds the pro-one produces but no midi or patch memory got old quicke...
