for polyphonic synths it is better to use the ASBs instead of the Scope system. It just takes to many DSP-resources on a Scope board to play for instance the Pro12 in 12voice polymode, this wil take up almost 10 DSPs or so....ASB is equipped with the "new" Sharc, which can provide way much power fro...

After reading up a bit on the Pro-12, I'm sort of surprised that it's not discussed more around here. Are these straight up VAs or is there some sort of soft synth component? I'm referring to the tabletop models that emulate classic synths. These ASBs are really a lot of Phun to play with. i got the Pro12, Minimax and the Prodyssey. Although the Prodyssey has the most mod options and I really love the ARP sound, I actually the prefer the Pro12 for playing. This machine sound so 80s It just what I like about this things.
