9v adaptor = you'll be fine

I bought a 727 from the US (I'm from the UK, by the way). Bought a standard 9v adaptor, probably from a car boot sale or something, and bobs yer auntie - lots of bongo sounds.

101s seem susceptible to hum from rubbish adaptors, so a standard Boss one is generally a good idea.

Mine isn't plugged in at the moment so I can't check this, but it should be right (or near enough)...Env1 is amp, env2 is filter. You want the amp of the note to sustain, but the lpf to quickly sweep down after you've pressed the key. Just as an example, set the env mod switch to env2, and the knob ...

Synth Repair Services = ace

Just to say that based on the notices here, I went to see James Walker at Synth Repair Services in Stoke-on-Trent last Saturday, to get my battery-damaged Polysix sorted, and he did a fantastic job for a really reasonable price. He's a gent and really knows his stuff, and his workshop is fascinating...
