Wireless Midi and more compact, user friendly, reliable wireless audio. Just tiny little IR or Bluetooth or whatever suckers that you plug in to whatever, with a little dial on the back to dial in one of a number of preset frequencies. This may exist. I know wireless audio exists, and I've never lo...

On that note, when they say no menus, its almost implied that they shouldn't also have extremely well hidden usefull things. Trying to figure your way through their myriad of button presses to do things like disabling the memory protect can kind of kill things. Here Here. Thats why i think the lack...

Final annoyances are: limited patch storage, the way the arpegiations are stored, the fact that you can only set LFO attack on the computer editor. If you hold down the LFO 1 button and turn the rate knob, this adjusts the LFO attack, the same for LFO 2. Would prefer a dedicated knob though but oh ...

the sh201 is a great synth. the main issue some people have is that for the same price you could pick up a used jp80x0 which is the same synth (nearly) but with a much better user interface. sound wise though it is great (presets don't really show it). if i were looking for a new va (brand new - no...

I own one and i think the annoying factors for me are the key combinations you have to remember to change things like split point, and PB range. But after few months i can almost remember them without the manual! (almost) but this is not such a big deal, i just carry the manual in the case. Also, th...

Drum Programming in Logic/Pro Tools/Hardware advice.

Hey, I wondered what people used for programming drums in Logic / ProTools? I have NI Battery which I use to store and edit drum samples, but in Logic i'm currently getting to grips with Hyper Editor.. although i find it a bit fiddly to use compared to Fruity Loops which I used to use a few years ba...
