Re: 3 synths connected to one Midi i/o??

Alright cool, I found a good 4x4 that I will put in an order for.

In the meantime, are there any midi routings I can do with a 909 and Little Phatty to connect to my one i/o midi/audio interface?

Re: Buying a Jupiter 8!! Some Questions

The unit I was interested in, in the OP is a 12bit DCB....Does that mean the DCB was added later as an upgrade or did it come like that from the factory?

Re: Buying a Jupiter 8!! Some Questions

Hah! Cool, glad to here he's a reliable guy! Do you know if that Clavitron addition decreases the value of the unit? I'm not a collector or anything but at that price, I'd like it to hold it's value. I ask because there's an older model on ebay without DCB going for $500 more from the same seller. I...

Buying a Jupiter 8!! Some Questions

Hey guys, I've decided to buy a Jupiter 8 and I am just trying to collect as much info as possible so I make a smart purchase. The jp8 I am looking at is from ebay. The particular jp8 I want to buy has a "Clavitron Interface" (or maybe clavitar?) that was a custom addition on the back panel. What is...

very basic question about sound systems

Hey, I just bought a JBL JRX100 speaker not knowing it doesn't have a built-in amp and I know nothing about setting up PA sound systems. I honestly can't even figure out what I need to get my speaker working. My question is what is a basic set-up (but expandable) to get my speaker up and running? I'...

does this vst exist?

Hey, I searched around and didn't come up with anything except for some hardware. Is there any VST that converts live audio into midi notes?

MPC1000 Pads

So what's the deal with the 1000's stock pads? Are they horrid and hard? If I'm going to spend all the time/money on replacing the 1000's pads I think I will just go for a used 2500. What do you think?

Re: Decisions, Decisions

Is the sound difference big enough to keep both? See those flappy things on either side of your head? Use them to figure out the answer to this question yourself. :thumbright: This is a completely subjective question that only you can answer. Maybe you're playing keys in a rock band and you just ne...

Decisions, Decisions

Hey there! Long time no see... I recently purchased the prophet 08 and LP and I want an MPC... My question is, is it worth having them both? I LOVE them and the LP is so fun and easy to play with (I'm pretty knew to all this analog synth stuff). But if I were to get rid of one it would be the LP bec...

Okay, wood it is, but here's my situation.. In my studio, I have another room which is about 8x9 in dimensions, then, across from that I have a small "closet" about 3.5'x6'. http://img104.imageshack.us/img104/3753/studox1.jpg I can't really explain it so I drew it out- bare with my jacked up proport...
