Re: MiniMoog bargain clone wars heat up

Ya I edited my post there when I learned about that transistor. Surely there's enough demand to get more of those manufactured. But I assume Moog have a business strategy here. Maybe they have something new up their sleeve- they are moving on from the MiniMoog, and ironically everyone else will hav...

I quite like Discofox. It really has that Italo sound, well done.

Re: Moog Sub 37, finaly a new poliphonic Moog?

As a former Little Phatty owner, this instrument is everything I wanted in the LP. What a gorgeous piece of kit. I want.

Re: Guess the synth (Blade Runner edition)

So, I see, not many contestants this time, folks. Ok then, I think it's time to reveal the answer: 1)Yamaha CS70m 2)Ensoniq sq80 3)Roland Juno 60 4)Korg Prophesy 5)Korg PS-3200 Bah, I almost got it. I just got the digital synths confused! Great work making these patches. All of them are inspiring!

Re: Guess the synth (Blade Runner edition)

I have no idea about the synths, but you are making me put the DVD on. Damn-it, that's the end of music making for the night now....thanks. ;) http://dynamicsplus.wordpress.com/2012/02/29/blade-runner-1982-movie-review/ You know, whenever I hear attempts to make that classic patch, I wind up wantin...

Geez, so he didn't like it that much. It is his review. Pretty surprised at how raw some people are over this.

Re: NAMM 2014 thread of broken dreams

What I would love to see: Moog: A new poly synth. Everyone wants it. Yamaha: A modern and updated AN2x :) New features, more knobs! Roland: Something, anything, that sounded organic, musical and inspiring. Korg: h**l, keep on keepin' on. If we're free to be greedy, how about a reissue of the Polysix...

Re: Korg MS-20 Mini

Been lurking quite awhile, and recently picked up the MS-20 mini. I hesitated at first since I heard all this talk about noise and poor build quality (wobbly knobs) plus I already had the MiniBrute which I really love, but I went ahead and got the MS-20 mini anyway, and for me, it is really quite f...

Re: What synth used Kraftwerk for main melody on computer lo

No idea, the sound itself is quite featureless so that it could be anything. They used the Polymoog quite a bit around that time, as well as a Rev. 2 Prophet 5, Korg PS-3100/3200/3300, plus other instruments. It might also have been something monophonic. Polymoog seems to be the safest bet, though....

Re: Depeche Mode, Photographic cover (Some Bizzare version)

It is actually slower than the original. You're right about the bass though. It does change at times, and if i redid it i surely would. However, this was done fairly quickly using a friends studio, so i did what i could. I certainly won't be sampling vocals. The intent was simply to lay down some an...
