Without dishing out any recording advice, the way to get your effects to your recording is to plug the effects return into an ordinary channel instead of the aux return. You'll send the synth to ALT3/4 and the channel with the effects return to ALT3/4. You'll record them both that way.

Well Behringer is so cheap that even if you break it, it won't matter that much, you'll just get a new one.. So that's probably why it's preferred for live use, especially at places where people get shabby and tend to pour their drinks all over the "stage" :D hah You know, I've never thought of it ...

8 track digital with ADAT lightpipe

Hey everyone. It's been a minute since I've been to the forum. I have a question- does this device exist? Basically, I want an 8 track hard disk based recorder with ADAT lightpipe in/out. I use an 01V96 with built in 8 ch lightpipe i/o, and I'd like to use it at 24 bits 48kHz. So, is there a hard di...

Yeah I've read about them. But I've read that a lot of people have problems with poor tracking and whatnot. Also the fact that it would cost me near $1000 just to midify my guitar. I was thinking more along the lines of pitch-to-voltage converters, which I'm sure wouldn't make tracking any easier b...

It's called the Roland GI 20. It takes the signal from a GK-x pickup and turns it into MIDI.

Yamaha RS7000... Like the RM1x, it doesn't save sequences on power-down. But instead of crappy floppies, it uses SmartMedia cards. Loading is pretty fast, and there's enough memory to hold a full night's worth of songs - you shouldn't have to reload in the middle of a set. Um... Way back in like 20...

I liked the A station when I had it. I wanted something in more of a desktop unit, which is why I don't have it anymore. As a knob box, it will suck. Novation uses a totally different set of CC's than nearly every other synth manufacturer. For example, filter cutoff is CC 74 on a Yamaha, Korg, or Ro...

I really like the Rubicon monitors. I listened to several in the store before I chose them. They won out over the Resolv and Event monitors.

Re: Live Midi out?

Does live have a midi out function? maybe im not seeing it.. I dont currently have a midi interface, since im not running midi gear right now. I was thinking if I had one, I'd see an option for selecting the midi channel and so on. For some reason I just thought about it, and I can't find anything ...

JV1010 owners, a little help please?

I was wondering if one of you JV1010 owners wouldn't mind sending me a sample from your unit. I had a track that used the "Space Voice" patch. I'm finding it difficult to find a suitable replacement sound in my triton. The triton is a sampler, so if someone could send me a sample of that sound at th...

The Andromeda A6 has the advantage of using DCA's for the oscillators and LFO's ..... the A6 will generate the digital waveforms via D/A conversion, pipe it through two filters and an amp before it arrives at the outputs. The Andromeda uses VCOs (based on the Moog 921b). Otherwise I agree  My ...

The Andromeda A6 has the advantage of using DCA's for the oscillators and LFO's (which means all the controls to tell those circuits what to do can be digital with little hassle). The envelope generators can also be digital. Basically, you have a bunch of controls and knobs, but none of them are rea...
