Yuck! Sorry about your fire :(

Thanks for all the input everyone! I've started salvaging some other equipment from the house so will update once I get some info on them as well on what insurance does, etc. Going to be a big project!

Fire / Smoke Damage - Cleaning?

So.. our house burned down last week. Along with it just a ton of vintage synths, drum machines, computers, etc. Wondering what the best method is of maybe trying to salvage some of this stuff (yeah, may be impossible, but maybe worth a try?) Basically looking at methods of cleaning smoke/fire/soot ...

I would suggest the Juno-60 as well.

What I'd really suggest is tape, Juno-60 and a bandpass filter. Or how about through a space echo..

Slight modulation of the pitch via lfo is good too.

also ran my Mobius to the XS to sequence it abit. How is that working out for you? I'm afraid I've got possible issues when sequencing from the Mobius to XS when stopping and starting =/ I would describe the sound as aggressive, smooth, intense, in your face, etc. all in a good way. Definitely a ke...

It's sweet.. I mean.. it's mean, like a demonic beast, yet.. sweet. It does feel like a lot like oh, an MS-20 mixed with a 777? I got to spend some time this past weekend tinkering with it and really fell in love with it. Love how hands-on and responsive it is... creating things from just the most o...

The only synths I noticed on stage were MS-20's.

I'll post some sound clips in the future!

Damn, 11 is my lucky number! Maybe we can trade in the future.

Hopefully I'll get #13 then.

I don't even know what all numbers are out there :)

I use Logic to drive a kenton pro-solo, which runs to a 202, which sync's all my other x0x's (through those multiple-lead din-sync cables from kenton).

I have non-v4 909 as well and the midi sync is HORRIBLE.
