Re: programming enjoy the silence EP solo sound
@ Baus : are you sure mate ? definitely sounds like a synthy sound, far from the guitar sound that goes all along the song. I set the youtube timer to show you the exact sound i am talking about as it appears only at that moment in the song. Any suggestion concerning the attack portion ?

Re: programming enjoy the silence EP solo sound
Hi,
I am not referring to the brass sound but the kind of crystal/malletish thing that comes in before the brass is layered .
here is my temporary rendition :

programming enjoy the silence EP solo sound
Hi all, This is not a your typical hunt for Emulator or Emax sounds, I just would like to recreate the kind of EP sound used for the solo on this song after the second chorus https://youtu.be/aGSKrC7dGcY?t=128 This sound is very strange to my ears and can't figure out the attack portion. I pretty mu...

Re: Oberheim sem v
Oberheim SEM.....why not but OPx-pro has already covered the oberheim field ( may be not the matrix 12) as far as I am concerned. I would have preferred a roland d50 emulation, especially since Roland is a good friend of Arturia and could give them the right to use the d50's samples. I am abit disap...

Re: Roland S-330, long demo of custom sounds!
Amazing, your sounds rock, who could think they come from a " low budget" sampler ! I am always amazed by those breathy vocal sounds, how to get such an effect on simple "ahhh" ? Anyway this demo goes right inside my Iphone to make my way to the office a bit happier. If one day you want to share the...

Re: help with bowed string sample. Mirage E2???
I may be wrong but I think it s a preset from the EII. 'Arco strings' was the name, a 'Marcato strings' -like but with a bowed attack and IIRC it wasn't looped. May be a mixture of both anyway, I read an article where Roger was explaining a layer of mirage, prophet 2000 and jx8p to get a brass sound...

The jets - Crush on you cover
Hi there, I'm curently making a cover of that song ( I know it's kind of the ultimate 80's cheeze) and everything is running well excepting the brass stabs. I really don't know how to get it. i presume it came from the Emulator II they used but can't find something similar on any of my numerous synt...

It reminds me one of the Emax preset more than a m1 sound which has more synth-typed guitar sounds

Re: Here are the Emax II Library samples!
This can prevent some people from buying the f**k useless Digitalsoundfactory Emax bundle which is way too expensive and pretty useless since the Emax collection contains more or less all the Emax I library. Now it would be cool if we could find a sf2 player with a more characteristic filter to impe...
