i've done some sleuthing, the moog email says that some dude named Andre Cholmondeley will be demoing the new moog product. a google search revealed that he's a guitar player.... so i think it's a safe bet that it's a guitar product, like a new moogerfooger. i don't need moog to come out with someth...

hmr, a little off subject here, but I was just so little impressed with justice. Playback is NOT cool live!! atleast I think they should have something to play live over the playback, cause looking at two stoned guys turning the same two knobs for an hour is just.. boring... s**t man. i was at øya ...

Thing is, the people who own either one of these synths will defend their synth with tooth and claw. It's just how it works. So there will always be some kind of "hah your opinions are stupid, MY lp is perfect" arguments in a thread that compares the two. i wouldn't go that far. i bought my lp abou...

i like the interface of native instruments' massive better than any hardware synth i've ever tried, because it's not an emulation of something, it is saying that the computer is the instrument, a far more versatile and powerful instrument than any machine out there barring the most astonishing modul...

Thanks hey_timj, i think the sherman makes more sense, (i'm sure it can be subtle? at times?). Time to save $$$. my answer is: not really. i mean, unless you just mix in more of the dry signal. it really makes your sound dirtier, no matter what the settings are on it. definitely, some sounds are di...

they're both great - i have A/B'd them and there are not really any surprises.... one is an easily programmable hardware mono, the other a great sounding emulation of the classic minimoog. for practicality and function, i'd probably say go for the minimonsta, because i am addicted to the flexibility...

never played with a metasonix device before, but i am sure that these are two very different machines. if you are only looking for nasty feedback sounds, i would say go with the relative simplicity of the metasonix product. the sherman is very versatile, sometimes too versatile, i'd say, and it can ...
