That would be a very bad idea indeed. There is a lot more to change than just the transformer. This is a switch mode PSU - the transformer is a high frequency type and several components must be changed round it such as a chopper transistors which won't have the correct voltage rating. Re: TX7 acid damage. unit still works.. need to prevent pro
Is this the 110v or 230v edition? If it is 230v edition I would be really happy if you could tell me what the name of this transformer (T1) is on yours.. The thing is I want to modify my PSU to handle 230v and the trafo is the only special part that need to be swapped. http://i59.tinypic.com/1z3qwc1...

The PC1600X is a great controller, I've been using mine as a sys-ex step sequencer for my Juno-2 together with my MicroKorg.
Make sure to check out the PC1600X yahoo group, lots of templates are available there aswell as various tips and tricks...

Re: Richard Tandy
Richard Tandy is one of my favourite keyboard players. All the great synthesizer stuff he did on Out of the Blue is amazing and has really inspired and been a great influence.
Shame they didn't perform more of the Out of the Blue-songs on the Zoom tour...
