LF something similar to POLYSIX SOUND

I really love the KORG POLYSIX sound, but don't really want to drop a $1000 and potentially have to add midi via a kit. so I was wondering if you guys might have any suggestions for something else that may sound similar not require a mod for midi. [not really interested in the legacy collection soft...

Re: need help choosing a sampler

Don't like your ESX? Roland SP404/505/606 line is likely what you're looking for. actually i dont have the esx anymore i just forgot to update my signature :) but yeah in truth i never really enjoyed using it, i love the korg sequencer, but i sequence in logic, so it just sort of went waste, or jus...

Re: Vox in industrial music

to put it as simple as possible for suicide commando type vocal fx. get a boss se-50, use the pitchshifter on it and set the 4 parts to +2,+1,-1,-2 i'd advise you to play with the settings a bit though, and maybe try some other fx as well, as most likely you'll end up gettting a clone or other nasty...

Inspector looks cool (I suppose it wouldn't be too hard to have an EQ and the analyzer open at once and just jump back and forth between the windows, to get an idea of how one is effecting the other), and you can't beat free. Thanks! the sonalksis eq's are pretty awesome as well, and cheaper than t...

Re: EQ with spectral analyzer?

I'm pretty new to recording and such, so I'm thinking it might be good to have an EQ that gives me some visual, as well as audio, feedback. Specifically something that gives me a visual representation of what frequencies are in a track, so I can see, as well as hear, the changes that are happening ...

i ended up selling mine, sorry i didn't get the examples to you.

honestly though for basslines it is capable but not the easiest thing to program, and doesn't really sound all that great in my opinion. the kicks are great but for basslines, i'd use anything else :)

what are you missing in your sound that you want to add? quasimidi make quality stuff but i haven't used them longer than a 1/2 hr at a time so no expertise here. similar to the emx, but from a previous era. they get the hiccups unless MIDI-slaved, so be wary. i think you should also consider somet...

trance drum ideas

i'm looking for something new for trance-type drums, something that will compliment my machinedrum, i already went the analog route, and wasn't what i was looking for.

i'm kind of thinking maybe a korg emx or quasimidi 309

what do you guys think?
