Re: Where did this old Amiga sound come from?

... Thanks for your kind reply. I am wondering: what if l mixed a Hammond organ with a "synth string" sound like the one at the start of this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wHks07hqcOQ Imagine that instrument one or two octaves lower, it would be quite bassy and tremolo-ey, so, l may try to ...

Re: Your thoughts on the GAIA?

I'm ok with mine, for va's, I prefer the ion. Reason being, the gaia always seems to be a bit polished as opposed to raw

Re: Roland RS-505 Paraphonic Strings - Modern Equivalent?

I have been looking at the Waldorf Streichfett myself for awhile now ( kind of lusting). I haven't seen a video that shows it having a split function yet... i.e. The strings in the upper register and with a synth bass sound in the lower register, I would be very interested to hear from someone that...

Re: Roland RS-505 Paraphonic Strings - Modern Equivalent?

Waldorf streichfett? Interesting - was listening to some demos - it does sound really good. One more question... At 50 seconds, when he flips the switch for the Contra Bass - is this something the Waldorf Streichfett can do as well? Get that sub-octave sound? It has a 3 way toggle for octave up, do...

Couldnt agree more!
Mine is never far away, both as a killer 4 way arpegiated controller, and as a sound source

Pro5, the transistor output issue you mentioned...is that what causes low output and high frequency noise on the main outs and headphone outs?

Kilpatrick carbon

Anyone know anything beyond the videos? I'm thinking of moving from my tenori-on to a carbon.

Re: How many of you have organs in your set-up?

A hammond b250 and yamaha sk50d (organ + I guess)

The vintage version of the korg cx3...I traded a yamaha yc20 for it...questionable trade I know, I'm still torn

Then I have a boss rt20 rotary pedal mainly for the cx3

A leslie 310 for both the b250 and the sk50d.

Re: Rare 1960s Custom Cordovox CG Tube Polysynth Awakens!

No, the unit sat on the floor and a fat cable connected it to the accordion. I knew a few guys who had Cordovox rigs. One had a stand for the accordion so he could play it like an organ. When driving the external unit, you didn't need to operate the bellows. In the bottom photo you can see the conn...

Re: Has anyone won the minilogue startup screen game?

Hahaha, nope! You get to play a version of the arcade classic breakout! You use the pitch bender as the joystick, and instead of bricks, you destroy the minilogue logo:) I personally use the Voice Depth Mode knob to move the paddle. I did not know about the pitch stick. No win yet but I have gotten...
