you can knock out the frequencies with the 3-band in ableton. there are green light L, M, and H buttons that you can click on. when u click on them and turn off the greenish light you cut out that frequency range for that button. i hope this helps

i cant tell you how to fix it but i can give advice. record all your ideas in the future, no matter how simple... and back them up on two hard drives. i back s**t up on three hard drives cause im paranoid lol. goodluck with the EMX

i agree i have used both and the sp-606 seems like it should cost about 150 dollars max. The ESX is a lot more intuitive and more fun to use anyway. i like the 808 much more than the 909 but they are both great. the 606 i hate. if you have either the 909 or the 808 you dont need the 606. end of story

love the EMX its great....synths and drums in one machine....my next purchase is an mc 808 or 909 becuase they are more versitile with samples drum etc and the synth isnt mono but the EMX is great for oldskool sounds
