Re: Sub37 V Little Phatty - basic sound?

I had a sub 37 and phatty stage2 together for a while. The basic tone of the phatty was fatter and generally more ballsy and the filter more juicy and with more mojo. Contrary to what's been said here, the filter on my phatty stage 2 opened brighter than the sub 37. I preferred the tone and mojo of ...

Re: Just played with a Nord Lead 4

Hey guys, just to let you know i've made and official soundset for the Lead 4. Tried to focus on playable sounds rather than loads of arps that you usually find in these sorta banks. Let me know what you think!

My MS20 has the screw AND the 35 filter. I opened it up to check and there it was plain to see.

Re: Korg MS-20 Mini

My Ms20 has the screw, but i looked inside and it has the Korg 35 filter, clearly marked.
So yes, you cant tell if it has the 35 filter or not until you open it. But if it has no screw
it has the 35. If it has the screw, then it could have the 35 or later filter.

Re: New Moog

Except this isn't a successor to the little phatty- it's an addition to the phatty line of synths not a replacement.

Songs written by the incredible Rod Temperton too. A much overlooked but classic Herbie album.

Re: Yamaha - enemies of synthsis!

Well there are some great workstation boards around but ultimately they are all pretty dull. I do reckon Yamaha may be cooking up something new and exciting on this front though, unless of course theres gonna be yet another motif variation.

Re: New Vintage : Korg SV-1

I hope the day never comes that the big companies (korg, yamaha, roland) start remaking analog synths...

It would be bad news for the smaller manufacturers.

VAST is so vast, its a nightmare to program and one of the most hands off interfaces every. Recently tried a kurz pc361 and it made amazing sounds but getting there was a battle.

Re: Technical discussion of DSI synths and their DCO pop

Instead of trying to suggest what people should or should not be interested in analysing for their own reasons how about making some recordings of your Voyager or P08 so they can be compared? No problem. Tell me what youd like to hear and ill make some samples. It was only a suggestion btw, hardly ...
