Re: Oscilliscope for synth work

This is what I have my eye set at right now: http://www.amazon.com/PDS5022T-PDS5022S-Oscilloscope-2-channel-resolution/dp/B007T6XNCA/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1364861389&sr=8-2&keywords=owon Plenty good for analog stuff. DSO nano is great for portability sake but glacially slow (I do use mine for simpl...

Re: cleaning/replacing tr-606 tact switches

These are the same tacts used on x0xb0xes, shruthis, etc. As common as they come: http://www.digikey.com/product-search/en?x=0&y=0&lang=en&site=us&KeyWords=EG1821-ND I'll +1 about being extra cautious with deslodering them, the best way to do it is to cut the 4 legs, then gently desolder the pins on...

Re: CV Gate converters??

Just build a level shifter on protoboard. You would need only a few parts: CD4069 Hex inverter, 7.5V (or ajustable) Vreg, a load resistor, some caps

Re: Monotribe CV control

Firstly, I recommend Altitude (the post above) for Monotribe midi kits, his is only 40, and its easier to install IMO. It is seriously too easy to mess up, you just plug in one cable and its done, no knowledge required. I'm sorry, Altitude, if I had any idea you even sold such a product I wouldn't ...

Re: Monotribe CV control

Allegedly, as a nice bonus, if have a MIDI mod fitted it will work as a CV -> MIDI converter too. That's confirmed (and crazy), you dont see many CV to midi devices out there. The fact that you can calibrate the MT to whatever CV scale you feed it makes this a no brainer though if you look through ...

Re: Monotribe CV control

Its actually pretty slick, you feed it whatever scale you want and simply calibrate the MT accordingly by setting the octave span I'll have break out boxes for sale this week if anyone needs one http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=r4BSkDR2rdY What I am curious about is when this w...

No. No micro controller on the monotron/delay and although the duo has a uC, it does not support any midi commands. I looked at making a kit for these at one point but the cost of one would have been twice the cost of the device so I never bothered.

Re: Suggestions for a CV/MIDI + SH-101 setup

Big city music carries most of the Kenton stuff: http://bigcitymusic.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=346 The x0x is a TB-303 clone but will convert midi to CV and gate (plus its a sequencer) I mentioned it since a lot of ppl have them and dont know that it serves as a midi to CV con...

Already been done, hopefully the case will be available at some point so that can get fleshed out more

Kind of curious about the sequencer. Reminds me of the simplified one on rebirth

Re: FS: Korg Monotribe Midi Kits

I am going to start offering these kits again, I went ahead and just got a bunch of boards made by a fab house which cuts way down on the labor. There will also be a new option of having DIN connectors instead of the 1/8" TRS to midi ones, its more difficult to drill but a lot of people have asked a...
