Got mine, he has a forum over at his website now and has been posting.

He's posted some interesting news about this thing...

I got my tracking number from Royal Mail and a few days later, it was waiting for me, expertly packed.

If he can get this going, this thing could sell a few units, I think.

I am just worried about mis-connecting something and toasting it.

I placed my order a loooooong time ago, December. I believe I had a flanger in line, but I don't think I turned it on there, actually I sort of hear it. I recorded a few hours of stuff and that was some of the most "listenable". It gets those sounds, real fat. I connected to it via MIDI. It doesn't ...

And it is definitely worth the wait.

I have never thought of him as being "good" at the keyed instruments.

But on the bass, his chops and feel are killer.

Most customers have been really great about the delays, some less so....
That's pretty cheeky considering the amount of disinformation he has generated...

I would assume it is FIFO, usually it would be that way.

Maybe he's got shipping issues to the US, and maybe he ships in batches, etc.

Still very strange how this guy works.

Would Dave Smith or Bob Moog communicate with his customers like this?

Ok, I may have given this Fisher guy kudos a little to quickly.

Someone at KVR ordered in the middle of May, got their unit on June 3rd.

That is not cool (for the guy who ordered, it's good). This is a bad way to run a business.

Maybe the creator of this project simply doesn't have that much time to work on it.
I noticed in the vids he posted that he ripped the patch cables out of the device in what looked like anger.

The silent treatment just makes things much worse, IMO.

Here's what is bugging me, he took a lot of $$$ without a working product that was ready to be produced and shipped. He's still putting together basic components. It's not like the device was shipped and then needed tweaking, it didn't even fricking EXIST. That's not good business in my book, not at...

He said that he bought his, so it is evidently a piece of a production run, hand -delivered to a high profile music blog with a lot of readers.

Um, yeah, well, I have known eccentric British engineers, maybe Fisher is one of those types...

It is a very cool thing, that vid shows why I want one.
