Re: HELP: Minimoog Model D, 4th Oscillator (?) constant soun

The A440 turning was obviously a good place to start, even tho it was set to off, it seems something was stuck in place, so opened it up, and after a few sets back and forth, i got back in right place! For some reason i remembered the test tone to pass through the filter section so i was convinced t...

Hi, i have searched all over the internet for this problem, but i cant find any clues so here it goes. The Vintage-classics of the future - What synths and Why?

so, this is something i think about a whole lot, and i actually think its interesting as h**l. But what new synths will be the vintage classics of the future? we are talking 20-30 years here. But what gear will stand the time? and really, try to think a bit out side of the box here, be a bit origina...

As a proud owner of one of these, i must say the Ax-60 i starting to get the reputation it deserves. I have owned this one for almost half a year and when i got it, it was a "poor mans juno 106", cheap poly bla bla bla. a lot has changed actually. these ones are starting to get more sought-after acc...

I guess the dream set up would be

Oberheim Matrix 12
Moog Minimoog
and a big fat modular synth!

I would then have it aaaaall covered.

The Minimoog Dilemma pt Early 08: Voyager OS - Model d

Jup, id had to come. So the last months ive been saving up and looking for a Minimoog Model D on the bay. I did not want to buy a nomal Voyager because i hate the whole preset and the NOT-WYSIWYG-thing. Being in Norway i hardly cared to look for any Model D sellers in my own country, so the bay + sh...

Strange way to number the pads :? starting with 9-10-11-12-13-14-15 and then 1- 2- 3 -4 - 5 -6 -7- 8 i would be unconfortable with programming in that order. hmm im must say i would prefer to lose the inbuildt fx + guitar amp mods and all that stuff in order to get the price down a few houndres.

Glitch, IDM Synth/Drum Machines

Im looking for that Venetian Snares/ Prefuse 73 kind of sound but have really no idea what kind of synths/drummachines/samples that are used.

Or in what way? Are samplers important? Is everything done in computers? Anyone?

i assumeyou can use them, yes, but i don't think many ex-pedals goes all the way on the knobs, but the moogpedal is known for beeing low-quality. i've got two yamaha f7 on my ringmod. They work great but, were pretty expencive. got them for about 60$ each. worth it tough. http://www.yamaha.com/yamah...

IIRC all the Ax60's have an input for the early Akai samplers.S612 etc..You use the sampler like an Osc. to be filtered by the AX60's VCF,VCA,LFO etc. Archetecture has a page up on Sealed's webpage w/ samples. Question: I've noticed there are at least 2 types of AX60 on the net.One has all blue but...

Akai Ax60 + AKAI S-1000

I bought a ax60 a few months back, and a few weeks ago I read on the internet that i have a "special edition" because some of the ax60 they produced have an exlusive akai-sampler input for note-trigging samples and i seem to have that one. But there was very little information about this on the inter...
