Re: Waldorf Q problems? rare or universal?
Hey! I'm using a yellow Q and has done so for the last six years. I've never had a problem where it crashes as far as I can remember. And I can remember that my Virus Indigo has crashed atleast three times during normal use. But I haven't used the onboard sequencer alot. I use it as my main keyboard...

Bennys GX-1 is currently residing in a suburb of Stockholm. I've had the privilege to play it and it was quite massive! Here is the owners site: http://www.roth-handle.nu/

Correct me if I am wrong, but the box you would use (ie. Kenton, etc.) has the digital circuits to convert MIDI to CV to control the synth, not the other way around. Yeah but then you need to buy that box too. Just implementing a very simple MIDI with note on/off and pitchmod control would be suffi...

The idea to skip MIDI seems kind of retarded to me. Who cares if it uses digital circuits to convert MIDI to CV? Something has to do it anyway, and if you play it live and record it it still has to get digital at some point. Digital is not bad, deciding on skipping it all together just seems cheap a...

The article doesn't have a date on it that I can find... which leads me to believe it is an old article from before when the voyager came out. Notice how they are calling it Big Briar instead of Moog. One guy is assembling a Little Phatty and another one is showing the Voyager RME.. But it's probab...

More or less any sampler from the 90's runs in circles around the fairlight qualitywise. But none but the Roland S550 have the screen option. With the 550 the screen is just an option, needs a special kind of monitor to work, but is next to useless without the screen. Early 90's I think. My Roland ...

Pro~One VS Prophet08
I'm having a little problem with deciding wether to keep my Pro~One or sell it for half of what a Prophet 08 costs and buy that one. It's a lot of money but I don't really know if the Prophet 08 is worth it. Can It mimic the Pro One good enough? I allready have a bunch of polyphonic synthesizers so ...
