You really can coax a surprising amount of sounds from the EA-1, considering how few parameters it has. Lots of people view it as a pseudo-303 but it's so much more. Shame about the dodgy plug socket. It started misbehaving as soon as the guarantee ran out. :x

I don't think I'd call the Korg Poly-61 a bargain. Although it has a cool sound, the lack of MIDI (unless its an M model) and problems with key contacts reduce its usability somewhat.

I know that it's something that could be emulated on just about any synth but could someone please tell me what synths, apart from the tb 303, offer just a single, two stage AR envelope?
