Re: How did Front Line Assembly create this sound?

And he asked him once what synth he used to create a particular sound and Bill's answer was "All of them." But what ever was used used to create that sound was probably pro...

Re: Yamaha RX11 - realtime recording in MIDI sync mode

hmmm i was able to realtime record on my RX5 from a midi keyboard. not sure if the RX11 is set up the same, but each drum is on a different midi channel so you can play the drums chromatically. i dont have the RX anymore so i cant tell you the exact steps, but hopefully that will point you in the ri...

Re: Moog Sub 37 Vs Moog Sub Phatty

No cv out for Sub37. Ever. I've asked the folks at Moog about this several times. they just say it's something with the circuit design that won't allow it. WTF?

Re: Do people really not like the Micromoog?

I had a Micromoog, it was my first synth. And holy h**l is that a fantastic instrument. It looks so limited on the surface but with just a couple flicks of switches and it goes into outer space. I was lucky to be able to sell mine for $900 on eBay awhile ago with a flight case and some other goodies...

Re: Micromoog Troubleshooting

Micromoog was my first real synth and is very powerful despite its simple appearance, so definitely worth fixing. The manual gives instructions on how to calibrate the oscillator and filter. I would start there. I was able to calibrate mine with just a tiny screwdriver, a flashlight, a reliable tune...

Re: Playing synths: do you play what you like to hear ?

Like everyone else here, I have a wide variety of taste in music. Any time I set out to make a track in the style of a particular genre I usually flop. so I just let what ever flow. But yes I primarily end up making music that I'm looking for and want to hear

Re: Full Size Keyless MS20 with Sequencer at NAMM

Website says $1799 now for MS-20m and SQ-1, ask for special pricing. So maybe $1599 for both

Re: Korg to release ARP Odyssey

Maybe it's because they are next to themselves, so there is no point of reference?

Also glad to see they are protected from underneath. They don't have that keyboard overhang the original had

Re: yellow Waldorf micro q?

Yeah I asked him about that again, he hit the polyphony confused with his virus. So it's what ever the standard polyphony is. $500 is a bit much I think with no upgrade. There are a couple others for $350 right now
