Re: how to vintage your synth

I worked at guitar center for many years, and not only does the "vintage-new guitar" trend exist but people OBSESS over that s**t. I like the video and feel that it states that "vintage must be better" mentality rather succinctly. Even synth players fall in to those lines of thought rather easily as...

Re: Ableton controller?!

I have been using a Novation Launchpad and recently added a Novation Launch Control to my mobile production. I honestly don't need a keyboard for composing music on the go.

So, ok, it's a keyboard rather than a synth.. but I wouldn't say it's a sound way to convince people.... ^_^

I am reminded of this, for whatever reason. Fast forward to about 4:30

Re: U-He DIVA

I really enjoy Diva. It has a very rich character, reminiscent of using an analogue. When I sit down and make music, I also prefer the zebra to the diva. Re: What synth have you been using a lot lately?

I sold all of my other synthesizers in the last number of months and am left with my JP8080.

I love this synth, but dear god I need something that can do bass better.

Re: Vintage synth prices

creative process is not a switch that is either on or off; if works in varying degrees. I totally agree, which is why I believe that the piece of equipment is not what causes the creativity. The creativity comes from within. You yourself are what draws it out. Whatever instrument or device you choo...

Re: Why doesn't this exist, or does it?

If your audio interface has optical inputs, or any other expander type digital inputs (dsub, etc...) you can always get external gear that will give you additional knobs/inputs that just plug straight in to your existing interface. http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/ADA8000.aspx Although, this par...
