Re: MacBeth Elements Synthesizer
Sounds fantastic, but yeah, for what price? Gold-plated keyboard, external spring reverb. This thing is crazy.

Re: Korg MS-20 Kit
So, has somebody here received the kit yet? I contacted Thomann and they gave me a new ETA of 18 March, when they should receive the first or only batch of kits. I should get one from this batch. Some at GS have already received theirs.

The sound is pure waldorf and it is nice to see the ppg filter in there. The sound quality is very good. since you also got the XT, would you share about how both sounds next to each other? mainly the filter? congrats for the new synth. Well, the problem right now is that I don't have a proper audi...

Just got mine yesterday! I hadn't even planned to get one now (because thomann had some difficulties supplying them and currently don't have a midi or audio interface at all! :D ) but happened to see an advert on the website of a local music store so I picked up one. Anyway, only 1 hour of testing s...

It is ok for me that Waldorf have cut corners with blofeld and it doesn't have midi out, thru or more outputs. I usually always use 1 sound per synth anyway so this is no problem for me. And the vocoder... I have never really used any vocoders or inputs of any of my synthesizers so that doesn't matt...

Re: Audio Demos
The new prophet looks interesting and I'll definitely be checking it out.. but goddamn those are some of the worst, if not the worst audio demos I've ever heard. Don't give me BS about Dave not having time to get real musicians to make patches.. the evo/mek/pek demos are the second worst I've ever ...

Not complaining, but let's stop calling this thing inexpensive. I agree. It IS an expensive synth but if the price will be about ~2000 as dB posted earlier, it is imo ok. If it's more, I guess many people (incl. me) must reconsider buying and we're at the starting point again (browsing ebay). So, i...

Must admit I'm pleasantly surprised to find a new real analogue poly being produced, and moreso because it seems to an instrument designed to be played live, rather than stuck in a studio connected to a computer (no offence to people who make their music that way, it's not not how I work ;) ). No p...

Wow. Sounds great! I hope the final price will be the one mentioned here. I really like vintage analog synths but I don't want to buy them because you never know when they will break down. Most of them are more than 20 years old which is about the maximum for any electronic device. I will gladly pur...
