yeah its definately a personal preference thing. i dont really feel inspired at all by DSI stuff, but voyagers in particular feel so...comfortable to me.

arp odyssey, that brings me to my next point...

just curious, are there other monosynths that you guys beat the moogs? roland sh-101,...

i guess im wondering how many guys are die hard moog or death types and how many prefer other units as a monosynth.

i just got some rather moogish sounds out of my hammond

i cranked up the onboard distortion, used some conservative drawbar settings, some volume swells. you can also mock some filtering by adjusting the drawbars as you play. got some flutey synth type sounds and also some more guttural undertones on a muted sine wave ala AIR (French band) hammond xk-2 b...
