it sounds like 1 synth stereo, with 12 voices, or a 6 voices with a more rich sound, because you could stack two patches, and even could detune them. I tried, I had 2 like this before. Of course, needs to have a computer with editor, to edit them...It's exactly the same sound engine as the matrix 6.

In my humble opinion the best is: 2 X Matrix 1000 (they are mono). If you chain them, you get a 12 voices Poly synth with 1000 sounds inside. (and you could pan them as you want, but you will never get a M12 of course). Or you get a 6 voices with 4 DCO's stacked, you even could detune the two M1000 ...

The CS60 uses the same boards as CS80 to produce sounds. So you could expect the same kind of sounds from a 60.
