Re: Eminent 310U - The Beast From Holland
Jarre continued to the 310 a lot on Equinoxe even though there were more polysynths around in 77-78 plus he would have made a small fortune from Oxygene sales yet the Eminent still remained a fave.

Re: Tonal difference between OB-Mx and Xpander
I has experience with a Xa and Xpander
the Xpanders VCO's aren't quite as full and the overall tone is more even and controlled however the Xpanders filter still has that Oberhiem bite which put's it a little above say a DS P08

Re: Teenage Engineering OP-1 Synthesizer
so no one who's praises this machine can give me a technical reason why? I guess none of the members of the "no-real-talent iPad crowd" give a s**t about giving you anything. or maybe they are really none the more wiser about this thing than I am yet seem to get excited just because it's the exclus...

Super grime bass lines and pretty cool FX for 8 bit chip tune leads and beats! I have the original too and wonder what's different on the + version.

Re: Teenage Engineering OP-1 Synthesizer
I just want someone to point out why this is so good to be worth $800?! :? Do you want someone to convince you that it's worth $800 of his dollars, or $800 of your dollars? I want someone to explain the features that make worth $800 relative to anything else that costs less or more. :banghead:

Re: Teenage Engineering OP-1 Synthesizer
Ok I've been through a lot of youtube vids about this thing and although I'll give the solid none aliasing sound more credit that it deserves the tape sequencer (or loop sampler) isn't anything you cant do on a Kaoss Pad 3 and the machine as a whole doesn't come close to a realtime workflow of a mo...
