Why are you selling?
Working on a down payment for some property. I'm sick of the shitty apartment already.

THey are only over priced if you don't have one. If you have one, and like it, it is priceless.

Thanks for all your comments. No im still totally into analogue. I just layer it with digital synths for greater tonal variety. you should get your hands on an SQ80 at some point, i think you'd like it- it sounds both digital & analog at the same time like a Prophet VS. Everyone should. It can do a...

I think the Mob is competing with the revo too much as a sequencer. Sure, it doesn't do as much and isn't rackmount, but it has a bloody 303 attached!

I don't anyone is actually buying them at 4k, though. 1600-1700 for a 2661 is good, as far as I have seen. I don't know how that particular 2600 stands up against a 2661, though.

1. Evolver (LOUD): This thing gets mean and angry and howls without you touching the keyboard

2. Microwave XT: The sound is 5-dimensional

3. Kurzweil K2XXX: Will go all over the place, and shakes the walls on occasion.

4. Nord Modular: The infinity box

Future Retro XS sequencer: Mobius vs. Revolution

I'm targeting an XS for later in the year, but I don't have any hardware sequencers. Which one do you guys think would give me more bang for the buck? Revo Pros: ACIIIIIIIID! Only 350$ more than the Mob for a complete synth Interesting pattern remix knobs Uh, round? Mobius pros: Rack mount Cheaper ?...

Odyssey Mk1 + Machinedrum

I picked up a demo of Live today. Ended up loving it, then buying it :( Here is the result of my first attempt at working with it. The oddy sounds great even when it's a dissonant ball of offtempo noise. PROTIP: if you've listened to something on loop 600 times, you've lost objectivity. If you've li...

Using a software sequencer unquantized is a different animal than sequencing 16ths. I've gotten some really interesting percussion that way (example).
