So I purchased a DSI PolyEvolver Rack a few weeks ago.. Just been going through presets as Ive had no time.. But tried to make/edit a few patches... Im somewhat disappointed with the filters...!!! I'll go simple on this one and just say that I'd love to see a rack/desktop version of the 08. YES. + 11 I would love to see a rack version of the P'08.. PolyEvolver rack... New but dead!!!

So I purchased a Polyevolver rack finally.. :? It got shipped to my house. I opened her up, set her up etc.. All good. Turned it on - Nothing.... Turned it on a second time - Great. It turned on. Dave Smith Instruments showed in the display. Then it went on to the first bank.. Played it for about 30...

I had one of the first ones.. EA-1, i think it was.. I thought it was tops.. Especially for the price. I would love to pick up one from the frst or second series... :)

I wish I had have kept it.. Just like I wish I had have kept my Jomox X-Base 09, Emu Pro-Cusion, EMU Proteus etc etc.. :oops:

Sorry.. Just downloaded the manual and found that, YES, it is also a midi sequencer.. So..? Whats it like? How many of you use it to sequence your external synths? I have a DSI PolyEvolver rack.. Im gathering it can only send note on/off, velocity etc.. It cant send any other cc's like filters etc, ...

Ahh come one.. We all have MIDI cables lying around.. And I hope a good percentage would have a controller keyboard. I dont have spare USB cables? And If I did it may be the wrong connector. It would have been nice to have at least a USB cable. I want to make use of the CD they supplied..!!!! :roll:

I was dissapointed to see that when I opened my brand spanking new box with Roland plastered along the side, that I only found a V-Synth XT, CD, Manuals, and a few screws glaring within. :( Why does Roland not ship with a USB cable and a PC Card adapter?
