Yeah that's the one, Notron.. I remember first seeing that in a SoS interview with Daniel Miller. I might as well make a list now of what I know is out there (excluding old 80s gear) either still in production or not. Alot of these will be out of my price range for now or the features dont meet exa...

Does the Bahn Sage count ? That was a pretty big hoax at the time.

I just watched the video on his news page and I lol'ed when he mentions not having to dig thru menus like on the artificial versions of these synthesizers, very clever :)

When I'm playing my Voyager, I don't think about how "close" it is to an original Minimoog. It's got the sound. The bottom line is, the thing sounds so damn good, sometimes I'll look over and an hour has passed. It's just really fun to create sounds on. The build quality is absolutely amazing. The ...

s**t, I did that and it initialized all of the presets...or maybe not. I'm confused. Reloaded the sounds anyway. Will try to initialize and save another day. Just verified , it is shift-util, turn program knob until it says Init at the top and hit shift-util again. Have you updated your Blo to OS 1...

Anyone find a blank or basic patch on the Blofeld? I hate starting patches from crazy presets. I didn't have the pateince to check every preset and could not find a list of presets on the waldorf site. Not in front of my Blofeld at the moment but if I remember right and you hit Shift-Utility there ...

I have a 777 and I'm selling it. This blows it away. "Groundbreaking sequencer"??? I'm sequencing it with a revolution, which has a far superior sequencer to the 777. It's an unstoppable combo. As you said yourself, the demos on the FR site are excellent, so obviously this thing can make excellent ...

On a side note, I wonder if there is ever a chance we will see the XS in a Virus TI Polar type layout with a 3 octave keyboard and built in Mobius type sequencer. Now that would be a hot item I think. http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/4007/xsdraftvy5.jpg If something like that came out, my plans t...

also ran my Mobius to the XS to sequence it abit. How is that working out for you? I'm afraid I've got possible issues when sequencing from the Mobius to XS when stopping and starting =/ I did notice a hung note when stopping the sequencer only one time, but hasnt happened again, otherwise works gr...

so what about opinions about the sound? good? not so good? blastin' good? generic? ballsy? MS20 like? moog like? c'mon damn it! I would say most of the above apply, except "not so good, and generic" . Seems to me so far it can do some mooglike, korglike, rolandlike analog mono synth sounds exceptio...

Mine has never crashed either. If you like the Waldorf sound you should like the Blofeld as I do very much, it sounds great.
