Re: VSE - Good trader/seller thread

Buyer 'cheeso' was very nice about voluntarily assuring me of his legitimacy in purchasing my MC-202, and made a quick easy payment. Good guy!

Re: MKS-50 Questions

Yeah, after seller fees you wouldn't get much more than $150 on eBay, but IMO that's a steal for any buyer. I got mine for $100 flat, and even though it was a little thrashed, I consider it a great investment that I wouldn't think of selling unless I ever gave up owning gear completely. I think if i...

Buying rack ears cheap

So I just got a little old delay rack, but it didn't come with the ears. Thus I need to get some standard 1U ear mounts (the kind you screw in about 4 cm from the front of the unit). I haven't had any luck finding some online, so please direct me if you're in the know! Thanks!

I just noticed the M-Audio Studiophile AV 40 monitors on Sweetwater for the first time (http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/AV40/). $150 there. And actually ten bucks cheaper, also with free shipping Amazon. Anybody have any experience with these? I know what an important component monitors are i...

This song "Glass House" by El Guapo uses an ER-1 preset pattern straight up thorughout the song. I had listened to this song a hundred times and one day I was scrolling through my Electribe and the exact pattern showed up. You can hear it here: http://www.southern.net/southern/band/ELGUA/sounds/1963...

the one that got away for me was an SH-101 for $75 dollars on craigslist a couple months ago. there were some easily fixable problems and in between getting a reply from a question i asked about the specifics of the malfunctions and my reply to that with my 'i'll take it' e-mail, it was spoken for :(

Lots of knobs, very few buttons-- preferably ones that just turn functions on and off.

yeah, but people have waited for longer things when perofrming live-- turntables anyone? not exactly the same, but it's the principle that a lot of live sounds don't necessarily happen instantly. the six second loop time is a little short too. the akai headrush was mentioned briefly but maybe should...
