disabling Kenton MIDI mod on a Jupiter 6

Hey, just wondering if anyone here has any experience with disabling a Kenton MIDI mod on a Jupiter 6, prior to installing Europa? I have some instructions from the Synthcom guys on it - they say it can be done but they were a little vague on details. Kenton have so far been unresponsive about it to...

Re: yamaha dx200 tell me about it

yep mine skipped too. I always thought it was a universal well documented bug... :?

I recently sold mine (nothing to do with the skipping issue)
it does sound great however and is a lot fun to play with.

Re: Seqential Circuits, MULTITRAK

Hi My MT is a little quieter than my other synths but not too bad. I've read somewhere someone else mentioning this too, not sure where (loads of help eh?).... Whether its a issue with your synth or its just they way they are I have no idea sorry. If you are syncing to midi clock the speed knob need...

Re: Sequential Circuits Six Trak vs. Multi Trak

I just got my multitrak fixed up and it sounds really good to me. I've never tried a sixtrak so cant do a straight up comparison. In unison mode it is huge! 8) and the ability to have it as a 6VCO mono or stack the voices in different configs is cool, plus the sequencer can say, play 4 different lin...

Re: A new polysynth somewhat on-a-budget... or not?

I have a JX10 + PG 800. 12 voices (24DCO's) give a really lush sound. Pads are its speciality and with the PG fully tweakable. I'm actually considering selling it, so if youre interested let me know. There are other mid range old analogues and hybrids, like a korg DW/EX 8000, Matrix 6r/1000 (already...

Re: waldorf microwave 1 sysex troubles

First up let me say thanks for replying. Yeah, you kinda missed what I'm on about, maybe I didnt put it too well. I'm well aware of the difference between MIDI and sysex. I was wanting to use the RemoteSl to tweak the parameters on the MW in realtime. To give it knobs, y'know? For that - its a sysex...

waldorf microwave 1 sysex troubles

Does anyone have any experience using a Novation Remote Sl to control (via sysex) a microwave I. I've d/loaded a template and it loads into the remote sl ok. Then it goes wierd. :( twisting some of the knobs and sliders do produce a change in the sound, eg: filterfreq (a good obvious tester) but it ...

Just waiting on a pro2000 to be delivered.
It looks like the business.

I had a PAIA MIDI2CV made up recently, but it just does not cut it.
It can only run from one MIDI channel at a time, whereas the pro2000 can assign ANY midi channel to ANY of the outs. Perfect. 8)

If you are thinking of getting shot of your Jup6 there are some folks here who would gladly take it off your hands mate. Me included. :)

If you do sell it, you should have almost enough funds for a P600 AND another Multitrack (if you can find one that is) or a sixtrack - or similar poly.
